This was well worth the time and money. For those wondering, it's sort of a blend of the mechanics from P.T. and Layers of Fear, with a bit of REVII (the videotape mechanic).
The story is disjointed, but I feel like I was able to make decent sense of it by the end. Trying to piece together the mystery through the environment is one of the game's big strengths - you never feel completely in control or at ease.
I can't wait to play the rest of the Emika library, as I picked the bundle up on sale.
I have now played all your games on here including the demos and this is one of my favourites from you. Have to say that this is a very good indie horror game especially for a very small team and the tools used. I love the atmosphere and the usage of sounds like in all your games. Price is definitley worth it. Looking forward to your upcoming game 'Summer of '58' Also was wondering if there is anymore news on 'From Day To Day'

THis game was so scary! I did feel like I got stuck in parts cause the cursor was hard to hit the objects i needed but all in all I crapped my pants many times lol amazing really!

Played the demo only and it already was spooky enough. Well done. No scare jumps but always had the player on the edge. It's the 3rd game out of the 3 in this video.
Liked this game a lot, also really liked the demo version (which I gave 5/5.) I liked the new areas of the house and the increased level of story. I also liked the audio effects, particularly the reversed speech. That's always a good creepy effect. I thought that the new version should have had fewer visual effects (flashing lights, shaky camera, etc.) These effects can be scary at first but they get annoying over time. Less is more.
A bug: The dresser with the lamp and telephone was supposed to have 2 photos but when I played there was only one. I had to watch a walkthrough to get through all the pictures because not all of them rendered for some reason.
Because of the exhausting flashing (I don't have seizures I just got really tired of the shaking) and the bug I'd have to say 3-3.5/5
Emilia, Kristina, & Alexandr; EMIKA! hahaha I love it! And I also loved and very much enjoyed the full release of Locked Up as well! The eerie and ominous atmosphere is nerve-wrecking, and you can feel that throughout all the diff environments you explore while progressing. The SFX you trigger act as delicious sound bytes for the horror experience, but at the same time felt over-used by the time I was snapping photos with the camera. Still a great development! I'm def following so I can be notified of the next EMIKA project!
I didn't like the way I painted the Game with my previous review, so I'm going to re-write it.
This is a well crafted Horror Game with tons of suspenseful moments. It will keep You on edge for most part, and make You scream like a grown-up baby. I like the idea behind some puzzles, like unlocking a drawer by looking at a photo of the drawer, it's original and refreshing, and makes the game less "keyfind simulator". The game feels inspired by the almighty PT, but not in a boring PT Clone way. Although there's moments when You get stuck and don't know what to do, cus the levels has "triggers" that You have to activate, and that's the Games weakness imo. But overall a very pleasant experience. Strongly recommended!

I got it today and played it all the way from start to finish. Took me 2.5 hours and it was awesome! The atmosphere, sounds, amount of scares. I had to take a scare break to recoup once, haha. Thank you for this game. You did an amazing job. I cannot wait for your next game or more content. 😃
